BLS Asphalt is a fast growing, locally owned company. We are looking for hardworking, reliable Paving Crew Personnel to join our team for the upcoming construction season. You will be responsible for preparing sites, operating machinery and performing manual labour to ensure high quality asphalt installations. This role is physically demanding and requires working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing paving sites ahead of operations, including leveling earth to fine grade specifications.
- Use tools like shovels, rakes and brooms to spread to spread and finish asphalt.
- Assist in operating or maintaining paving machinery such as rollers, skid steers, pavers or screeds.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and perform basic maintenance and refueling of equipment.
- Coordinate with Paving Foreman and crew members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Experience - 1 -2 years in paving or road construction is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Valid class 5 license (Class 1 or 3 is considered an asset) (Heavy Trailer endorsement G an asset).
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work long hours on your feet in hot or cold weather.
- Strong work ethic, punctual and able to travel to various job sites.
- Drivers abstract.
- Criminal Record check.
Wage dependent on Experience.
